Listing Types
When creating a listing, choose the correct listing type based on how you offer your service or product. Here’s a breakdown of each option.
1. Hourly Based Services
This is for services that are booked by the hour.
This uses a calendar booking system where you set your hourly availability. Customers select specific times or dates to book your service. You set your hourly payment rate. Ideal for services like photography sessions, music lessons, or any hourly-based creative work.
2. Daily/Project Based Services
This is for services booked by the day.
Works like Hourly Based Services but in full-day increments instead of hours. If a booking starts today and ends tomorrow, the customer is charged for two days. You set which days you are available. Ideal for longer projects like mural painting, on-location shoots, or full-day creative gigs.
3. Collab & Connect
Collab & Connect is for artists who want to collaborate or offer their services for free. Whether you're looking to team up on a creative project, exchange skills, or connect with other artists without a financial transaction, this listing type allows you to do so easily. Perfect for passion projects, creative networking, and skill-sharing within the community.
4. Creative Product - Infinite Stock
For selling creative products that have multiple units available.
Set the quantity of stock available. Customers can purchase more than one of the same item. Ideal for prints, merch, handmade items, or digital products with unlimited sales.
5. Creative Product - Finite Stock
For one-of-a-kind creative products.
Only one unit is available for purchase. Once sold, the listing is no longer available. Ideal for original artworks, unique handmade pieces, or collectibles.
6. Events
For selling tickets to an event.
Set the number of tickets available. Customers can purchase tickets directly from the listing. Ideal for concerts, workshops, exhibitions, and any ticketed events.
Listing Categories
When creating a listing, select the category that best fits what you are offering or looking for. Below is a guide to help you choose the right one.
1. Book An Artist
Select this category if you offer a creative service and want to get booked. This applies to performers, musicians, visual artists, photographers, designers, and other creatives who want to get hired for events, gigs, or jobs with the public, industry professionals, or other artists.
2. Artist Collaboration
Choose this category if you're looking to collaborate with other artists. This could be for finding a vocalist for your song, hiring a professional to mix and master your music, getting a videographer to help with your dance project, or any other creative collaborations.
You can either: List your service so others can find you. Create a listing for what you're seeking.
Listings can be free if you’re just looking to connect or monetized if you’re offering a paid collaboration.
3. Art Store
Use this category if you are selling creative products. You can manage pricing, shipping, and stock details. Note: We only accept original works created by the artist—no drop shipping or mass-produced items.
4. Rentals
This is for renting out creative equipment or gear, such as:
Music equipment (speakers, sound systems, instruments) Visual art tools (cameras, lighting, projectors) Any other items that help artists with their work
Tip: We recommend having insurance when renting out your equipment.
5. Education & Mentorship
Select this if you offer: Lessons (music, dance, painting, photography, etc.) Mentorship programs Workshops, training sessions, or wellness and personal development (e.g., life coaching)
6. Business Management
This is for services that support artists professionally, such as: Accounting & financial services Marketing & promotion Legal assistance Tech & web design
7. Events
Choose this category if you are hosting an event and selling tickets. You can set ticket prices and the number of available seats.

Setting Up Your Service Agreement Contract
When you create a listing as an artist, we highly recommend setting up a Service Agreement Contract to protect yourself legally and ensure clear communication with clients. A well-crafted contract outlines the terms and conditions of your services, helping to establish trust and avoid misunderstandings.
Why Create a Service Agreement?
Legal Protection: Clearly define your expectations, responsibilities, and any terms related to cancellations, payment, or usage rights.
Transparency: Provide clients with a clear understanding of the terms they are agreeing to when booking your services.
Flexibility: If a client wishes to negotiate terms, they can contact you directly to discuss adjustments.
How It Works
Write Your Terms: You can create your contract from scratch or use the template we provide. The template is designed to cover the key elements of a service agreement, saving you time and ensuring important aspects are included.
Link Your Contract: Upload your finalized contract to your listing so that clients can review it before booking.
Review and Negotiate (if needed): If a client wishes to change any terms, they must contact you to discuss the details.
Access the Template
To make things easier, we’ve provided a Service Agreement Template in the Artist Portal on our website. You can customize this to suit your needs. Click the link below to access the template and get started.
PORTALCancellations, Fee’s, Road Map
Watch this Video on Payment Fee's, Cancellation Policy, and Universal Dreamland's RoadMap
Deposits: Deposits are required for bookings to secure the commitment from both sides. In the event of a cancellation, if it occurs within (12 hours) (User to Artist), or (84 hours (3.5 days) (Venue to Artist) , OR, the predetermined cancellation time as per your jointly signed 'Agreement Contract', the deposit will be forfeited by the ‘booker’, to the ‘booked' artist as compensation for the late cancellation.
Payments: When a booking is confirmed, payments (in full) are taken immediately (including deposit) and held securely (excluding deposit) until the service has been successfully completed as per jointly signed 'Agreement Contract'. For instance, if a venue (or User) books an Artist (Service Provider) for a future performance date (or Creative Service), payment (including deposit) will be taken from the venue (or User) at the time of booking. However, this payment is held (minus the deposit), and released to the Artist once they have performed (completed their Service, as per 'Agreement Contract’), within 1 - 5 business days. Universal Dreamland uses Stripe & PayPal for all Payment Processing and Donations. This ensures a safe, smooth and reliable transaction, (and overall) experience for all parties.
Cancellations: Currently, to cancel a booking, either party must contact Universal Dreamland directly.(operations.unvd@gmail.com). Aforementioned cancellation policies apply. i.e, (12 hours) (User to Artist), or (84 hours (3.5 days), Venue to Artist), OR, the predetermined cancellation time as per your jointly signed 'Agreement Contract’). We are actively working on adding a feature that allows users to cancel bookings autonomously from their profiles. This feature will streamline the process and provide greater flexibility and convenience for all users.
Booking Fee: A 12-15% booking fee applies to all transactions on the platform. This fee is charged to both the booker and the person being booked (fluctuates depending on circumstance, including but not limited to Season, Product, Service, Artist, or Venue) . This fee helps us maintain and improve our services, ensuring a seamless and affordable experience for all users. In comparison to our competitors, you’ll find nothing like it!
By adhering to these payment and cancellation policies, we are collectively recreating a fair and transparent network that mutually benefits both independent artists/creators and venues, systematically improving the state of the Industry by forcing change and promoting equity and symbiotic relationships, especially between Venues and Artists. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to contact our support team. (support@unvdartisthub.com)
